2004 Vintage
The 2004 season was generally cool and moderate,
punctuated by a week of 100F days in early September.

2004 Central Coast Chardonnay

Aromas of honeysuckle and candied green
apple with a hint of vanilla. In the mouth,
the fruit evolves from cool climate
freshness to classic lemony-citrus flavors
mixed with crisp green apple. Smooth in
texture with a touch of acidity. Perfect for
warm weather drinking.

2004 Central Coast Pinot Noir

With the color of red plums, this pinot noir
maintains typical cool climate
characteristics. Initial aromas of earth and
cranberry are followed by a hint of white
pepper. Light-body and smooth tannins give
way to flavors of candied cherry, raspberry
and leather notes. Pairs wonderfully with
creamy cheeses such as Brie.

2004 Central Coast Syrah

Aromas of vanilla, spice, cedar, and a hint
of violet. This dark plum colored syrah hits
you with a mouth full of spice and black
pepper with undertones of green pepper, red

2004 Central Coast Syrah, Don’s Block

Selected from our upper block of syrah,
this wine was immediately noted as special.
Deep ruby in color with aromas of spice,
black pepper, and red berries. A mixture of
black cherry and spice lingers in the mouth.
Medium in body and great acidity. This is a
perfect match for richer meats.
